| I followed the road for hours before I reached the edge of another forest. As this point it became a bit easier to stay hidden, which is a good thing, because I began to see quite a few people of different races passing by. However, thus far none have been Kitsune like myself and all I could be certain of is that some important place must exist along the road. Now, I sit in a tree, out of view of those who might pass by and watch as people pass in and out of the gate of what must be a very large village or a very strange castle. It seems that the chaos I wrote about earlier in my journal still has a foothold on this land, why else build such a huge walled fortress and not see even a single simple shelter built outside. Strangely the guards don't seem intent on checking papers of otherwise making sure people are who they say, though some few are greeted more warmly than others. Should I try enter or not? |
